Privacy Policy

How Trackur handles your data. Last updated March 2026.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and an authentication credential (password hash or Google OAuth token). When you use Trackur, we store the job application data you enter: company names, roles, stages, dates, and notes.

How we store it

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. Row-Level Security ensures that you can only access your own data. We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to third parties.

Authentication

We support email/password authentication and Google OAuth. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth and never stored in plain text. We do not have access to your Google account beyond the email address used for sign-in.

Cookies and local storage

Trackur uses browser localStorage to remember your view preference (board or table), sort settings, and dark mode choice. We use Supabase's authentication cookies to maintain your session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics.

Data deletion

You can delete individual job entries at any time. If you want to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us and we will remove everything. Row-Level Security ensures your data is fully isolated and can be cleanly removed.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't notify you by email for minor wording changes, but we will for anything that affects how your data is handled.
